RESEARCH

I haven’t done as much research on any previous project, and in all fairness, Ponyplay needs a good deal more preparation compared to most other sub-genres of BDSM—even though I’m well-versed in plenty of ponyplay stories over the last twenty-or-so-years.

Q&A:

Are there any amputations?

No. A pony’s arms are tightly folded and injected (medical procedure with needles) and held unusable long-term by steel. Ponies are surgically silenced, with most items welded-shut for good.

Any castrations?

The protagonist remains unharmed but more than one gelding appears and gets shown by the Countess in great detail. It gets insinuated a few times as punishment. Also, two passing pony carts are pulled by geldings, and one mare of the Countess had lost her clit in the past and is intimately explored.

Is it Femdom or Lesdom?

(F/fm) There is one Mistress in charge (bi) with a maid servant as a lover and a pussy-licking pet slave, plus a handful of kinky grooms (all female) who take care of a ponygirl harem, a castrated husband—and the main protagonist—as the fresh stallion.

Consensual or is it an abduction fantasy?

It’s a slow-burn, and an escalating gradient. Starting out as consensual with a prearranged safe-sign, it goes over into dubious consent with kidnapping/enslavement roleplay; yet if Tom, the protagonist, is just playing along with the previously arranged non-con scenario, or not, is never quite clear and part of the mindf*ck setting. (It is not a straight-up kidnapping and pony-breaking scenario but has BDSM culture mixed in.)

Are the hoofs on the cover art real?

There is a seam, but they can’t be slipped out of again, not by the pony itself. I left the seam out on the cover art to mess with your mind (and mine). There are no magical transformations in the story. It plays in the present and is rather down-to-earth and tries to aim for more realistic BDSM.
